Yough River Transport is a shuttle service that caters to bicyclists along the Yough River Trail (YRT), the Allegheny Highlands Trail, and the C&O Canal.

David & Karan Tressler, who are avid cyclists themselves, conceived Yough River Transport during a 5 day bike trip on the C&O Canal. During this 185 mile trip David & Karan biked from Washington D.C. to Cumberland MD. They utilized a shuttle service that made their trip and the planning of their trip easy and enjoyable. David & Karan quickly realized the value in the service and also realized that the Great Allegheny Passage, which passes through their home town, did not have such a wonderful and valuable service. Yough River Transport was established by David & Karan in the spring of 2004 with the specific goal of providing outstanding transportation services for bike trail users. David & Karan have been growing the business and providing safe and comfortable shuttle services up and down the bike trail for bike trail users and their equipment.
